Toyota recently called us in as they were having some temperature issues.
The Showroom and in particular the reception area or “The Hub” as it is more commonly known which sits at the front of their showroom is too hot in summer and too cold in winter.
We explained that Air Conditioning would provide the solution but there was a problem.
The Hub has a round recessed solid ceiling making it unsuitable to fit an Air conditioning unit. (well not one that would look great.)
We started by fitting 4 ceiling cassettes to the main showroom ceiling which are connected to two outdoor condensing units. We then ducted air from the cassettes to “the hub” which has worked extremely well.
Ceiling Space problems
After looking through the various types of Air Conditioning units available the customer decided that her would like the Ceiling cassette type unit fitted.
This unit has many advantages in that it disperses air evenly in 4 directions. The problem is, in order for the unit to sit flush with the ceiling it requires a degree of space depending on the size of unit.
After our initial inspection it was found that the ceiling beams were too low to fit the cassette flush with ceiling.
After discussion with Webmart we provided a couple of solutions but we agreed that a ceiling console unit would be the optimal solution.
Dirty Filters can lead to total system failure

Dirty Filters in your Air conditioning units will decrease air flow through your unit and this will result in longer running time which, in turn will make your air con unit much less efficient and inevitably total system failure.
The good news is, this can easily be avoided. Dependant on your environment a twice a year service on your units can avoid expensive repair or replacement bills.

As part of the Franchise Requirements, all bedrooms within the hotel must have Air Conditioning as standard.
After a number of consultations it was decided that due to the architectural constraints of the hotel, the best option would be to install a wall mounted indoor units to each room.
We have just completed stage one which has consisted of 40 units fitted to the second floor.
Stage 2 involves 37 units to be fitted to the ground floor rooms later this year.
